It's conveniently located minutes from I-95 Exit 41 in Hope Mills, NC. It's open to the public every day from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. They've been around since the late 1960s. Still, They have continuously renovated their courses to transform it into the champion style course that it is today. The golf course has 18 holes and more than 7,000 yards of bermuda grass. It's open to any experience level, but fair warning, it's been named Cumberland County's most challenging course.

U.S. Army Airborne & Special Operations Museum

Located right at Bragg Boulevard in the heart of downtown, the U.S. Army Airborne & Special Operations Museum is a must-see in Fayetteville. If you want to continue the trip through military history, Fort Bragg is just 10 miles from the museum.

Their operating hours are from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm. While on Sunday, they're open from 12 pm to 4 pm. Entrance is free, but you can buy a ticket for $10 in the gift shop if you want to get into the Pritzker Simulator.

The museum is dedicated to the Airborne and Special Operations soldiers who fought for the country. You can find both outdoor and indoor exhibits throughout the facility. There are various artifacts, interactive displays, and dioramas of wars from the 1940s up to the present day. There is also a memorable monument of a K-9 in front of the building in honor of all K-9s who served.

David McCune International Art Gallery

The David McCune International Art Gallery is only one of many art galleries in the city. It's located in Methodist University and is a 15-minute drive from downtown. Unlike the other galleries, this place showcases many international works. Their exhibits include collections from international, regional, and local artists. This includes the students of Methodist University. They've included global traveling exhibitions, a collection from Andy Warhol, and art from western North Carolina.

Club Halo

To complete your Fayetteville experience, spend the night dancing in Club Halo. The nightclub is the perfect place to unwind and let loose. They sometimes hold events or themed nights like a 90s dance party, karaoke nights, or a concert. The club consists of two floors and 14,000 square feet with VIP areas and exclusive tables. Campbellton Landing

Campbellton Landing didn't start as an events place; in fact, it had a fascinating history behind it. The venue used to be Campbellton Village and was used as a ferry landing in 1762. The community preserved the location, and now many community events and concerts are held in the outdoor amphitheater.

What's more, you can also fish in the Cape Fear River that's accessible from here. The fishing is at no cost, and you can come anytime to catch some local fish.

It's on 112 Person Street, alongside Riverside Sports Center. It's near many other destinations like the historic downtown and Cape Fear Botanical Garden.

1897 Poe House

1897 Poe House is right by downtown Fayetteville and is somewhat of a local treasure. A certain E. A. Poe owned this house, but it wasn't the horror story author. Poe was a local businessman whose home became a museum for how people lived in North Carolina in the past. This includes African American history in the state and many more. The house is well-preserved with a collection of antiques and historical artifacts.

Cape Fear Botanical Garden

Fayetteville is abundant with outdoor attractions, and you can't miss Cape Fear Botanical Garden.

The Botanical Garden has stood since 1989 within 80 acres of land. It's also sandwiched in between the Cape Fear River and Cross Creek. You'll find it near the Riverside Dog Park and minutes away from the center of the city. It's open to the public every Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm. On Sunday, their hours are from 12 pm to 5 pm. Aside from the garden, you can also head to the Garden View Cafe and gift shop. The ticket cost $10.
